We own a Cessna 172  four seater aircraft based at Rochester airport. This aircraft is available to our members for £132 per Tacho hour inc. fuel and VAT. This is far below normal commercial rates. The aircraft is well equipped including 2 VOR/ILS, DME, Transponder and panel mounted GPS. For dual training flights e.g. towards an IMC Rating or night flying Skytrek charge £45 inc. VAT per brakes off/on hour for their instructor. This means that dual flying in our aircraft costs around £152. brakes on/off hour

As stated above we operate from Rochester airport, which has 2 grass runways based on chalk so they are seldom water logged.  The airfield is relatively informal G-BIIB over Kentand is home to an interesting mix of aircraft from helicopters to microlights. There are no landing fees for our aircraft when landing at Rochester. Our host club organizes flyouts and various social events throughout the year. The airfield has a very active  user group called Pilots & Friends of Rochester Airport (PAFRA).
