LEARNING TO FLY WITH THE CSFC

To obtain a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) you will need to undertake a minimum of 45 hours of instruction, most of this timG-BIIB over Northern Francee with an instructor although some of it will be solo. You will also be required to pass several flight and theory tests, the theory tests consisting of fairly simple multiple choice questions. This may all sound a bit daunting whereas in reality it is not at all difficult and is very worth while. Our page "So what is so Great about having a PPL", accessible from our home page or by clicking this link, explains the benefits of having a PPL.

We are able to offer PPL training in our own 4 seater for £157.48/brakes on off hour inc vat. With us, unlike some training establishments, you do not pay landing or touch and go fees when landing at your base airfield, in our case Rochester. A touch and go is a practice landing and take off, where a normal approach is made, but as soon as the aircraft touches down full engine power is applied and a take off initiated. You will do lots of these during your training and at clubs that do charge it will be it will be a significant extra cost. For more information please ring our chief Flying instructor on 07940 786606 or 01580 292052 or click here "Obtaining more Information".

Trial Flights Take the first step - book a trial lesson! Phone our own Chief Flying Instructor, Brian Bennewith, on 07940 786606 or 01580 292052. With pre & post flight briefings plus 30/60  minutes hands on flying, this will cost £91 or £158 respectively and count towards your PPL. There is no need to join us beforehand  and no commitment to continue - just the first stage of addiction.
